I have a lot to say but can't seem to find the right place to start.
Instead I'll just share this picture.
I love it!
It was taken the day before we went to the hospital - at 20-1/2 weeks.
It was freezing cold and windy but the sun was shining!
And we were so happy - look at those smiles!
We had an appointment with our doctor last night. We had a lot of questions. He was able to answer many of our questions, but many of them will go forever unanswered - oh, the complexities of the human body.
There are so many more questions ... most of which only we can answer.
But we're doing ok.
We are with each other.
We are leaning on each other.
Crying together.
Even laughing and making jokes.
Sometimes it is freezing cold and windy but the sun is shining!
Saskia & Arne will always be with us.
It's good to read that you can also can go on living!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, Babette.
Best wishes,Magdalena,take your time.

ReplyDeleteMy dear Jovita, since I don't know anything about a dashboard page, let alone a "blogger," I guess I'll have to continue to send you "anonymous" messages....but you know they're from me! The picture you posted is one of the most beautiful pics I have ever seen. You two radiate your love for each other and for Saskia and Arne. It's a brave strong thing to do, to share such a joyous moment after the unthinkable pain you have been living with. Please know I continue to hold all four of you in my thoughts and prayers, today, and always. Love from Ellensburg, Deb
ReplyDeleteEen prachtige foto met jullie vier tesamen, een blijvende herinnering om te koesteren.

ReplyDeleteYour joyous photo made me smile - and I'm happy you are able to smile. Know that my thoughts are with you and I send you lots of love and positive energy...
ReplyDeleteWonderful that you are able to share that special day with us. Continue to take care of yourselves as you will continue to be in our thoughts.
ReplyDeleteDear Jovita, I was scrolling through Moose on the Porch Quilts when I stumbled upon her condolences post. My heart hurts for you. I know sometimes...not all the time, but definitely sometimes...it helps to read the thoughts and feelings of someone who's gone before you in similar circumstances. My daughter's son Everett was stillborn on February 23, 2011. He was just a week past his due date. She's blogged through a lot of her hurts, fears, and feelings starting at http://jocelynmerkel.blogspot.com/2011/03/resignation.html -- she's also listed other resources that have been helpful to her. She had a second baby, Ellie, this past January and they are doing well. I'm glad you're healing -- you all are in my prayers. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture, Jovita! You look amazing and just look at that boyish grin on Axel. :-) I'm so glad you were able to take precious pictures to remember the "sunshine moments". <3
